Cris Johnson states that teaching science helps students increase their overall understanding of how and why things work because science teaches students about the world around them (Johnson). Science teaches students problem solving skills and is an important subject because of its everyday relevance. In today’s generation, science creates plenty of opportunities for students’ futures as technology evolves and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) becomes more important as the world progresses and the world’s needs change. Students can develop their scientific skills regardless of level through 1-1 tutoring. Depending on the needs of the student, an appropriate tutor will be matched and our tutors will do their best to ensure that students develop the scientific skills they need to build their confidence and to succeed, and to hopefully use their scientific skills to fill the world’s growing needs and be part of the progress.
